In fact, as Pamela Scott Crace, Editor of Progress Magazine, has pointed out, Atlantic Ballet Theatre of Canada has the potential of doing for Atlantic Canada what the Cirque du Soleil has done for the country as a whole. However, like virtually all other arts organizations in the world, the Company’s continued ability to flourish depends as much on private support as it does on government grants and gate receipts.
