Atlantic Ballet Theatre of Canada’s $3.5 million LIFT Campaign got off to a promising start on April 16, 2009 with the announcement that $1.1 million of that total had already been attained.
LIFT Cabinet members Greg Landry and Len Lockhart moved the event along after short opening remarks underlining the extraordinary accomplishments of the Company.
Hon. Margaret Norrie McCain, Honorary Chair of the Campaign, put the spotlight on the self-discipline and dedication to excellence that drives the artists of Atlantic Ballet Theatre of Canada. “To be at the top of their game, ballet dancers need focus, commitment and a capacity for hard work,” she said. “They are perfectionists.”
